🎉 VICTORY for Cambodia's Digital Space! 🎉

We are thrilled to announce a major success for the Cambodia Local Guides community! Following the submission of our "Google Maps Location Violations Investigation Report," which we launched at our "Reclaiming Our Digital Space" event on September 6, we have achieved a significant result. Today, I have verified that all 341 abusive and fraudulent locations from our report have been successfully taken down from Google Maps! This incredible achievement was made possible by escalating our community's detailed report to the Google core team through our dedicated Local Guide Connect moderator in Cambodia, Bong Sophea. A huge thank you for your invaluable support! This is a powerful testament to what we can accomplish when we work together to protect our digital heritage from harassment and disinformation. Our work isn't over. Our team will continue to gather more data on abusive locations to submit in the near future. Thank you to every single volunteer who contributed to the report. Your dedication made this possible! #CambodiaLocalGuides #ReclaimingOurDigitalSpace #LocalGuides #CommunityAction #GoogleMaps #MakingMapsBetter #DigitalSovereignty #Cambodia
