Cambodia Local Guides on the Global Stage at Connect Live Singapore

We're proud to share that one of our own, SophatCHY, represented Cambodia as one of only five Local Guides invited to join the panel discussion at Connect Live Singapore, held at Google's office in Singapore. On stage, SophatCHY spoke about how our community grew from a small group of contributors into what it is today — our meetups, our mapping activities, our community trainings, and the everyday work of helping people understand that Local Guides is about more than collecting points. It's about helping real people, improving information on the map, supporting local businesses, and giving Cambodian communities a voice. This moment belongs to everyone who has ever joined a meetup, reported a map issue, contributed a photo, or helped edit information for Cambodia Local Guides. Thank you to the Google Local Guides team for the opportunity, and to every member of this community whose work made it possible for Cambodia's voice to be heard on an international stage.
